My 6 year old son was warmly welcomed to his first Mandarin lesson by Jun and I am impressed at how much he has learnt in such a short time. The program is perfectly structured for primary school children covering oral, written and an introduction to Chinese culture. He has really enjoyed these classes and I recommend them to any parent whose child has an interest in learning Mandarin. Parent, Mandarin for Kids club, Brisbane ‘As parents we know that engaging preschoolers in any activity, particularly new activities, is a big challenge but I have found Juana, the Spanish group teacher, has all the right tricks through song, dance and group activities to bring even the shyest toddler along and engaged in learning. My three year old takes a while to open up but wow with only two lessons she has become mad keen to sing along in Spanish after each lesson, she sings in the car, at home and can’t wait for Friday to come along and use her new skills. Not only is she picking up words in Spanish at the speed of lightning but it also doing wonders for her confidence in a group setting.’ Thank you. Susie, parent, Spanish for Kids club, Adelaide
"Having lived in a Spanish speaking country for 2 years while our children were very young, we wanted them to continue to learn Spanish when we returned to Australia. Our youngest child is 4 years old, and attends LCF Spanish Playgroup once per week. The backgrounds of the children who are in our child’s class are varied, they include a child whose parents are native speakers, a child who has been exposed to the language through immersion, and children who are new to the language. The teacher is warm, genuinely likes the children and manages to teach and engage with all of the children. There is lots of laughter and learning through play. Our daughter is very excited to attend each week and she thoroughly enjoys it. " Samantha, parent, Spanish for Kids, Adelaide Milayna is really enjoying her Mandarin lessons, the new teacher has included singing and other great games and the kids are learning quickly and having a great time. Sandra, Goodwood Mandarin for Kids, Adelaide Mandarin Club is fun, interactive, educational and the children love being involved. They sing, play games, tell and hear stories and learn how to respond to and initiate greetings and directions. The teachers are full of warmth, energy and enthusiasm and the programme is really well structured with a variety of activities designed both to teach and entertain the children for the entire 60 minutes each week (no mean feat!). "Since joining the French for Kids Club, Alexandra is exciting about anything to do about Paris, Eiffel, French etc. She likes to learn more about French at home and me and my wife just can’t believe how she pronounce the words with the French accent." (French for Kids club, Newcastle, NSW) "Thanks for letting me stay (in the French for Kids Club) yesterday. My kids loved it and asked if they could come every day." Last week I said to the class "If you don't behave today I am going to keep you in and teach you at playtime!" Clementine pipes up and says "I don't mind, I like French, can I stay too?". "Uhh... not really the desired effect, but I was still pleased". Maroussia- Club Manager, Auckland "Mandy and Jackson attended the fun languages holiday French programmes and in the words of Jackson, now 16 ... “I still have such great memories of learning so much and having great fun. This made me really enjoy my time in France when we went on a family trip. It gave me such an interest in French which I am now taking at high school “. The holiday programmes were so interactivem, with singing, cooking and games which made the learning FUN. The children really looked forward to going and it gave them a base for more formal learning in high school." Michelle, Auckland "(My son) has really enjoyed the sessions and I have loved the fact that he had found them challenging. He finds school easy and quickly becomes bored. It has been great to see him enthusiastic about French " A happy mother of a 7 year old boy from the Central Coast. “Olivia has been constantly asking me to say things to her in Italian, to sing to her in Italian and she loves practicing what she has learnt, our lessons have been fun for the both of us!! She squeals with delight when I tell her its Italian day”, Mandy mother of Olivia age 3 “….. I would really like to take this opportunity to let you know how happy and thrilled we have been with the LCF teaching. We now have French at breakfast lunch and dinner and as a Mum I can’t tell you how happy this makes me.” "LCF Fun Languages lessons are play-based. The children enjoy them so much that their foreign language acquisition comes, seemingly, effortlessly. They have also picked up a lot of cultural understanding from the extremely fun and respectful teachers." Lee, mother of of Erin and Sebastian age 8 and 3 "My daughter, Lauren, has attended LCF Fun Languages, French classes for the past 3 years (pre-school and also at primary school). She has thoroughly enjoyed her classes and her French has improved immeasurably. Her vocabulary and conversation is greatly improved. She now shows great confidence in her French classes at school; and last year won a School Commendation for her French! With this confidence she feels competent and consequently loves learning her second language. Her teacher Maroussia, is a talented tutor and a native-speaking French woman with an obvious love of children. I have personally observed the French Classes and find them highly interactive and engaging. The teacher is creative, funny and adaptable. The students are 100% focussed and engaged throughout the classes because the teaching techniques are so effective. The children learn through a wide variety of songs, games, pictures, mini role plays and activity sheets. Some of the games are familiar to the students already (in English) and they love to play them anyway - learning in French just adds to their excitement and sense of fun. LCF Fun Languages provide great learning materials for the students too including a French Learning CD (with songs, rhymes etc. that we often play in the car); and weekly learning activity sheets that the students compile in their individualised scrap books - a great reference for reinforcement. I would have no hesitation in recommending LCF Fun Languages as a professional and effective organisation. Maroussia is an excellent teacher and I would thoroughly recommend her also." Lucinda Batchelor. (May 2012) "My kids love going to 'French Club'. They have a lot of fun and it gives them confidence in their school work. I like that it is right at their school, and that it provides a quiet, weather-proof contrast to their other activities which are very active and outdoor focussed. And they are very proud of their French skills!" Anna Garcia (mum of Jonas & Samson, "French for kids" club at St Teresa's School, Brighton, Adelaide). |

Genevieve loves her Mandarin lessons - the classes are well-organised and always so much fun! We were surprised at how quickly she is picking up the language- she has even taught us to say a few words!
“Nelson has been attending Spanish club for a couple months and is really enjoying it. He was initially very shy and I think this is a great opportunity for him to learn confidence as well as a 2nd language. We do not have any Spanish connections but I think all children should be given an opportunity when so young, to learn another language.” Katrina, parent, Spanish for Kids, Adelaide
