Teachers love our workshops!!
First of all I would like to thank you for this unique experience. I was quite amazed about how much one can do in only 4 hours. The workshop helped to put some fears aside and replace them with curiosity. I am very intrigued! I was happy to hear that there are guidelines on how to create a "lesson". The learning material was fascinating. Thank you very much.

Testimonials from parents
"I just wanted to share my experience with LCF in Bendigo, central Victoria. I was always adamant my children would learn another language - but my husband frequently reminded me that it was ultimately up to the kids. LCF proved the perfect way to introduce another language to my son. Fun, interactive & "real world" would be how I'd describe the term of Mandarin he did with his delightful teacher, Maggie. The combination of native language speaker teachers, the welcoming vibe & seamless organisation in terms of venue, time, communication etc, meant our whole family loved our time at LCF. The only problem is we have moved & no longer have access to the classes." Erin, formerly of Bendigo
"Genevieve loves her Mandarin lessons - the classes are well-organised and always so much fun! We were surprised at how quickly she is picking up the language- she has even taught us to say a few words!" Kate, mum of Genevieve (5) St. Joseph Primary School, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane
"It's been lovely to pick up our daughter on a Monday afternoon and hear her chatting away about her Mandarin lesson; asking us what our favourite colour is, or 'Do we know how to say how are you?' in her new language. It was great to hear her say "Happy Mother's Day" in Mandarin. She's very proud of herself."
"My 6 year old son was warmly welcomed to his first Mandarin lesson by Jun and I am impressed at how much he has learnt in such a short time. The program is perfectly structured for primary school children covering oral, written and an introduction to Chinese culture. He has really enjoyed these classes and I recommend them to any parent whose child has an interest in learning Mandarin." Parent, Mandarin for Kids club, Brisbane
"As parents we know that engaging preschoolers in any activity, particularly new activities, is a big challenge but I have found Juana, the Spanish group teacher, has all the right tricks through song, dance and group activities to bring even the shyest toddler along and engaged in learning. My three year old takes a while to open up but wow with only two lessons she has become mad keen to sing along in Spanish after each lesson, she sings in the car, at home and can’t wait for Friday to come along and use her new skills. Not only is she picking up words in Spanish at the speed of lightning but it also doing wonders for her confidence in a group setting." Thank you. Susie, parent, Spanish for Kids club, Adelaide
“Nelson has been attending Spanish club for a couple months and is really enjoying it. He was initially very shy and I think this is a great opportunity for him to learn confidence as well as a 2nd language. We do not have any Spanish connections but I think all children should be given an opportunity when so young, to learn another language.” Katrina, parent, Spanish for Kids, Adelaide
"Having lived in a Spanish speaking country for 2 years while our children were very young, we wanted them to continue to learn Spanish when we returned to Australia. Our youngest child is 4 years old, and attends LCF Spanish Playgroup once per week. The backgrounds of the children who are in our child’s class are varied, they include a child whose parents are native speakers, a child who has been exposed to the language through immersion, and children who are new to the language. The teacher is warm, genuinely likes the children and manages to teach and engage with all of the children. There is lots of laughter and learning through play. Our daughter is very excited to attend each week and she thoroughly enjoys it. " Samantha, parent, Spanish for Kids, Adelaide
"Mandarin Club is fun, interactive, educational and the children love being involved. They sing, play games, tell and hear stories and learn how to respond to and initiate greetings and directions. The teachers are full of warmth, energy and enthusiasm and the programme is really well structured with a variety of activities designed both to teach and entertain the children for the entire 60 minutes each week (no mean feat!). A wonderful way to learn about other cultures, practise skills and meet new friends, this programme is the best of its kind!" Meredith, Grandparent, Seacliff Mandarin for Kids Club, Adelaide
"Milayna is really enjoying her Mandarin lessons, the new teacher has included singing and other great games and the kids are learning quickly and having a great time." Sandra, Goodwood Mandarin for Kids, Adelaide
"Since joining the French for Kids Club, Alexandra is exciting about anything to do about Paris, Eiffel, French etc. She likes to learn more about French at home and me and my wife just can’t believe how she pronounce the words with the French accent." French for Kids club, Newcastle, NSW
"Thanks for letting me stay (in the French for Kids Club) yesterday. My kids loved it and asked if they could come every day." Mum of 4, French for Kids Perth, WA
"(My son) has really enjoyed the sessions and I have loved the fact that he had found them challenging. He finds school easy and quickly becomes bored. It has been great to see him enthusiastic about French " A happy mother of a 7 year old boy from the Central Coast.
“Olivia has been constantly asking me to say things to her in Italian, to sing to her in Italian and she loves practicing what she has learnt, our lessons have been fun for the both of us!! She squeals with delight when I tell her its Italian day”, Mandy mother of Olivia age 3
“….. I would really like to take this opportunity to let you know how happy and thrilled we have been with the LCF teaching. We now have French at breakfast lunch and dinner and as a Mum I can’t tell you how happy this makes me.”
"LCF Fun Languages lessons are play-based. The children enjoy them so much that their foreign language acquisition comes, seemingly, effortlessly. They have also picked up a lot of cultural understanding from the extremely fun and respectful teachers." Lee, mother of of Erin and Sebastian age 8 and 3
"My kids love going to 'French Club'. They have a lot of fun and it gives them confidence in their school work. I like that it is right at their school, and that it provides a quiet, weather-proof contrast to their other activities which are very active and outdoor focussed. And they are very proud of their French skills!" Anna Garcia (mum of Jonas & Samson, "French for kids" club at St Teresa's School, Brighton, Adelaide).
