Chicago residents and visitors will enjoy reasonably priced, French comfort food at Bistro Voltaire. Thanks for the efforts of its owner, Ned Boukram, the bistro offers a bit of joie de vivre right in the heart of the Windy City.
In Paris, it was cold, grey, dreary and either wet or snowing outside during much of February 2013. The atmosphere was, however, very warm, excitable & animated at our member-only MaVieFrançaise® - MyFrenchLife.org February events; intimate gatherings & indulgences indeed!
I had never had the capacity to distinguish between standard French and ‘cool’, ‘young people’s’ French. It felt as though I had earned myself a badge to enter a new, exclusive club. A whole new world of ‘lingo’ was now available!
